Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-02
Rolebe helps you build and adapt resumes for specific jobs. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do not do. We do not sell your resume or contacts.
What we collect
- Account data: email, password hash (not plain password), UI language, and free-trial / credit records.
- Resume content you create or upload (text, structure, optional photo), job texts you paste, cover letters you generate, and application-tracker notes.
- Technical data needed to run the service: session tokens, IP for security/rate limits, and basic server logs.
Why we process data
- To create and store your resumes, tailor them to vacancies, generate cover letters, export files, and show your dashboard and tracker.
- To keep the product secure (login, abuse prevention) and to improve reliability.
- Optional analytics only if you allow analytics cookies (see Cookie Policy). Analytics scripts are not loaded until then.
What we do not do
- We do not sell resumes, emails, or contact lists to recruiters or advertisers.
- We do not publish your CV in a public applicant catalog.
- We do not use your content to spam you with “jobs of the day”.
AI providers
- To structure or rewrite text we may send resume and job text to an AI provider solely to deliver the feature you requested. That is not a sale of your profile.
Your choices
- You can edit or delete resume content in the product. You can request account and data deletion where the product supports export/delete.
- You can change cookie preferences anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
